When we were looking for a place in Central Ohio to raise a family, we chose Worthington for the schools and the trees! We intentionally chose a neighborhood where our children could walk safely to school, library, and nearby parks. Our hope was to avoid some of the traffic and sprawl outside 270 and to be part of a smaller community where people were more connected. So a local government and "downtown" area were all part of it. Besides, my husband had grown up in Colonial HIlls and turned out to be a great guy. That was an automatic endorsement! Our kids are grown and we still live here. We still love our walkable neighborhood, the library, Olentangy bikeway, and (oh, yes) trees!
